On July 12, Nothing Phone (1) is expected to go on sale both internationally and in India. It follows Nothing's announcement of the Ear (1) TWS earphones and is the company's first smartphone. The launch and its characteristics are the subjects of intense buzz and interest. The whole design as well as the Glyph LED light interface was recently made public via an MKBHD YouTube movie (see this article for more information). Now, courtesy of RootMyGalaxy, the Nothing Phone (1) price and specifications have been leaked ahead of the launch.

Nothing Phone (1) India price, availability

The Nothing Phone (1) will have storage options of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB and 256GB, the report quoting sources states. The base model is rumoured to cost $397 (about Rs 31,000), the 256GB model is rumoured to cost $419 (around Rs 32,000), and the 12GB option is rumoured to cost $456. (Rs 36,000 Approx).

In addition, it is discovered that the sale of Nothing Phone will not begin for two weeks after introduction (1). For Indian buyers, though, things might be different because Reliance Digital is reportedly in negotiations with the company about selling the phone offline. The phone will be available for purchase in Black and White.

Specifications

The 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the Nothing Phone (1) is rumoured to have a punch-hole cutout and a 120Hz refresh rate. According to earlier rumours, it would have a 90Hz screen. According to reports, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 778+ 5G chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There may be 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC connectivity options available.

The 4,500mAh battery in the Nothing Phone (1) is stated to allow reverse wireless charging at 5W and 45W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging connection. It is rumoured to contain dual speakers, Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The device will probably boot Android 12 with the Nothing OS skin.

The Nothing Phone (1) will include a dual-camera system on the rear that consists of a 50MP primary sensor and a 16MP secondary camera. It is rumoured to have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
